About Your New Job

As a Clerical Officer in the Supervision Team - Platform Supervision & Investigations Division, you will:

  • Provide general administrative assistance, including preparing correspondence, organizing, filing, and recording documentation.
  • Assist in the implementation of operational work activities, supporting managers and colleagues.
  • Organize travel arrangements for team members.
  • Collate data/information for reporting and report-writing.
  • Provide high-quality customer service, responding to queries and providing information.
  • Process and handle queries from the public.
  • Manage data and files in line with Coimisiún na Meán’s policies and requirements.
  • Organize meetings and take meeting minutes.

What Skills You Need

  • Essential Criteria:
    • Relevant clerical/administration/customer service experience.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on own initiative.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
    • Commitment to delivering quality work.
    • Willingness to learn and develop skills, knowledge, and expertise.
    • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Desirable Criteria:
    • Experience in the Irish public sector, particularly in a regulatory environment.
    • Fluency in or a working knowledge of the Irish language.
