The position of Pre – Litigation Claims Handler reports to the Claims Manager, and involves managing a portfolio of Property or Liability claims and completing them through to resolution.
About Your New Job
- As Pre-Litigation Claims Handler, you will manage a portfolio of property, liability and mixed claims within a pre-litigation environment.
- You will set claims strategies, review policy coverage, monitor reserves, and aim for efficient claim resolution.
- You will liaise with external stakeholders such as loss adjusters, brokers, and customers; review case details, negotiate settlements, and support fraud prevention.
- As Pre-Litigation Claims Handler, you will contribute to claims trend analysis, regulatory compliance, and process improvements in partnership with senior claims handlers.
What Skills You Need
- MCC qualified (minimum CIP) with a relevant professional or third-level qualification.
- Strong claims handling experience within general insurance, ideally covering property, PL, EL, and Motor.
- Demonstrated ability in pre-litigation strategy, negotiation, and settlement.
- Adaptable, customer-focused, strong communicator, and capable in a fast-paced environment.
