About Your New Job
As Civils Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil engineering works across multiple renewable energy projects in Ireland.
You will:
- Manage civils works from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, consultants and suppliers, ensuring effective project delivery.
- Monitor construction programmes, progress and project controls, identifying and resolving issues to keep projects on track.
- Manage project costs, budgets, forecasts, variations and change control.
- Review subcontractor applications, RAMS and construction methodologies.
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Lead and attend project progress meetings, acting as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
- Support project handover, commissioning and close-out activities.
What Skills You Need
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years' experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience in construction programme management, subcontractor management and project controls.
- Experience within renewable energy, utilities or power infrastructure would be highly desirable.
- Knowledge of NEC4, FIDIC or EPC contracts.
- Strong commercial awareness, including experience with variations, costs and change management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, quality and risk management.
- Temporary Works Coordinator training would be advantageous.
- Chartered status or working towards professional accreditation would be advantageous.
- A full clean driving licence and the ability to travel to project sites across Ireland.
