About Your New Job
- Lead and develop the finance function to ensure financial strategy, systems, controls and reporting support long-term business objectives.
- Guide the organisation’s financial strategy in collaboration with the CEO, executive team, and board.
- Deliver clear financial insight, commercial challenge, and strategic leadership to support effective decision-making and sustainable growth.
- Oversee long-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and treasury functions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation, regulatory requirements, and manage external audit processes.
- Act as a strategic partner across the organisation, providing meaningful financial insight for business decisions, pricing, investment, and M&A activity.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, ensuring succession planning and continuous development.
What Skills You Need
- Qualified accountant with senior leadership experience, ideally within a large Irish business.
- Strong strategic and commercial financial acumen.
- Excellent technical knowledge of accounting, reporting, tax, and compliance.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning.
- Strong risk, controls, and governance expertise.
- Previous experience with mergers/acquisitions.
- Experienced in partnering with CEOs, boards, and senior leadership.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams.
- Stamp 4 or EU Passport required.
