Our client is a well-established carpentry and construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential projects across County Galway. They are currently involved in a busy housing development in Athenry and are known for their commitment to quality workmanship, reliability, and maintaining high safety standards on site.

About Your New Job

You will be carrying out a variety of basic carpentry works on a residential housing estate in Athenry. Duties will include fitting timber products, installing skirting boards and architraves, hanging doors, completing general 1st and 2nd fix carpentry tasks, and assisting with other carpentry requirements as the project progresses. You will be expected to deliver work to a high standard while following all site health and safety procedures.

What Skills You Need

  • Be a Trade Qualified Carpenter with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.
  • Valid trade certificate, Safe Pass, and Manual Handling certificate.
  • Own tools and PPE.
  • Full driving licence and own transport preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong attention to detail.
