Our client is a well-established electrical contractor with ongoing work across Dublin and Leinster. Due to continued project requirements, they are now seeking an experienced and reliable C1 Licensed Labourer to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a C1 license who is looking for steady, long-term work within the street lighting sector. The successful candidate will be based out of Finglas, Dublin, with work taking place across Leinster.
About Your New Job
As a C1 Licensed Labourer, you will work as part of a street lighting team, assisting with the installation, maintenance and repair of street lighting infrastructure.
A key part of the role will involve driving a small truck throughout Leinster, transporting equipment and materials to various worksites and supporting the wider team on site.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Driving a small truck to street lighting worksites throughout Dublin and Leinster.
- Assisting with the installation, maintenance and repair of street lighting infrastructure.
- Carrying out general labouring duties on various outdoor worksites.
- Following all site health and safety procedures and traffic management requirements.
- Keeping the vehicle, tools and equipment clean, secure and in good working condition.
- Working efficiently as part of a team while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
What Skills You Need
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A full, valid C1 driving licence.
- Previous experience in a labouring, construction, electrical or utilities environment is desirable.
- A good understanding of workplace health and safety.
- A responsible and safety-conscious approach to driving and working on public roads.
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- The flexibility to travel throughout Dublin and Leinster as required.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification are required for site work.
