About Your New Job
As a Business Data & Systems Administrator, you will support the smooth running of enterprise data and systems across the business. You will work with internal teams, regional sales teams, finance, account managers and external partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing requests to create, amend, deactivate and deduplicate customer master data records in line with established governance processes.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring changes are properly approved and reflected across relevant systems.
- Updating Tableau dashboards daily and investigating any data or reporting issues.
- Monitoring data flows between customer data management, CRM and ERP systems, escalating sync failures and data mismatches where required.
- Carrying out data quality checks, validation exercises and data-cleansing activities using Excel and other tools.
- Responding to partner and stakeholder queries by email and through internal query systems, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Supporting monthly claim audits with the Finance team by investigating discrepancies and reconciling data across systems.
This role involves a high level of administration and repetitive tasks. It would suit someone who is organised, detail-focused and comfortable following established processes without losing concentration or motivation.
What Skills You Need
- Previous experience in data administration, systems administration, business operations or a similar role.
- Experience working with large enterprise systems, such as CRM, ERP, MDM or CDM platforms.
- Strong Excel or Numbers skills, with experience managing and analysing large data sets.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to respond professionally to partner and stakeholder queries.
- The ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively within a wider team.
- Experience with Tableau, SQL or other reporting and data tools would be an advantage.
- A degree in Business, Data Administration, Information Systems, IT or a related discipline would be beneficial.
What's on Offer
- Salary starting at €35,000
- 9-month contract with a 39-hour working week, Monday to Friday.
- Hybrid working arrangement, with Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays office-based in Cork and potential remote working on Mondays and Fridays, subject to approval and operational requirements.
