About Your New Job
As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial records of the business and ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time.
Key duties include:
- Managing bookkeeping activities including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and ledger maintenance.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns and supporting PAYE/PRSI and RCT compliance.
- Completing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Managing credit control and following up on outstanding payments.
- Assisting with payroll processing and month-end reporting.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial data and supporting the wider finance function.
What Skills You Need
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar bookkeeping role.
- ATI Qualified
- Working knowledge of VAT, PAYE/PRSI, and Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT).
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office.
