About Your New Job

As a Bagging Machine Operator, you will:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain bagging machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production.
  • Monitor machine operations, identify packaging defects quickly, and make necessary adjustments immediately.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues on the bagging machine, palletiser, conveyors, and stretch wrapper.
  • Adjust machine settings for various materials and bag sizes, managing quick and seamless changeovers with minimal downtime.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with strict quality and production standards.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and report operational issues promptly.
  • Work closely with other operators and supervisors to continuously optimize production processes.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times by adhering to company safety protocols.

What Skills You Need

  • Previous experience operating Haver & Boecker or similar bagging machinery is a strong advantage.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
  • Flexibility to work multiple shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining production records.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions.
