About Your New Job
- Manage the full specification sales process, from initial project engagement through to completion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, surveyors, local authorities, building owners and contractors.
- Oversee project procurement, ensuring opportunities are tracked and progressed from specification through to sale.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across new-build and refurbishment projects.
- Prepare and manage specifications, surveys, inspection reports and guarantees.
- Deliver CPD seminars and technical presentations to customers and industry professionals.
- Work closely with Technical, Marketing and internal sales teams to resolve technical queries and progress projects.
What Skills You Need
- Proven experience in specification-led technical sales, ideally within the building envelope/construction sector.
- Strong business development and account management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven, proactive approach.
- Ability to self-manage a territory, work autonomously and build a strong route-to-market network.
