About Your New Job
- As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and specifications for various projects.
- You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Stay up to date with Irish building regulations and ensure all projects adhere to these standards.
- Your onsite experience will be crucial in ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards. You will be responsible for site inspections, liaising with contractors, and ensuring compliance with building regulations.
- You will be responsible for creating and managing BIM models using Revit, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project delivery. Your role will involve coordinating with other team members and stakeholders to integrate various aspects of the design.
What Skills You Need
- A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- At least 4/5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of technical drawings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Irish building regulations and standards.
- Experience in handling government contracts and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all technical drawings.
- Essential experience in managing and overseeing onsite activities, including site inspections, quality control, and coordination with contractors.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and contractors.
