Accounts Assistant
About your new employer
My client, a well know energy provider is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for a 12 month initial contract. This company are based in South Dublin and offer a hybrid working model – 3 days office and 2 from home.
About your new job:
- Process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding, appropriate approvals, and timely entry into the finance system.
- Maintain the accounts payable ledger and ensure supplier invoices are processed.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with preparing supplier payment runs.
- Maintain accounts receivable and debtor records, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial records remain accurate.
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and preparation of reconciliation schedules.
What skills you need:
- 3+ years’ experience as an accounts assistant
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
What’s on offer:
- Salary is - €45,000 - €50,000
