We are working with a leading global IT services and consulting organisation that is currently hiring an Ab Initio Technical Lead for a 12-month fixed-term contract. Our client is a market leader in digital transformation, delivering large-scale, enterprise data solutions for some of the world’s most recognised brands. This role will focus on leading the design, development, and optimisation of enterprise-scale ETL solutions using the Ab Initio platform, supporting critical data programmes within a high-performing engineering environment.
The position is based in Dublin and operates on a hybrid model 2–3 days onsite and 2-3 days remote.
Primary Duties
- Lead end-to-end Ab Initio solution design and architecture, including ETL design, optimisation, and enterprise integration
- Act as the senior technical authority across Ab Initio development, ensuring coding standards and best practices are followed
- Develop and enhance Ab Initio graphs, PDL components, and plans, with a focus on performance and scalability
Requirements
- Extensive experience working with Ab Initio
- Strong ETL development experience including Graph design, PDL, plans, and metadata-driven frameworks
- Proven experience designing high-volume, distributed ETL architectures
