Simon Lehane

I am a Senior IT Recruitment Consultant for the IT Team in Sigmar which covers roles nationwide. I have over 9 years' experience in recruitment, having worked across multiple disciplines with over 6 of those years specialising in IT recruitment. Prior to this, I had 4 years of customer-facing roles including nearly 3 years in Sales. I also have a BSc in Genetics from UCC, where I graduated from in 2013. 

My main focus is in the recruitment of Software Engineers. The best part of this is the variety of roles, languages, technologies and tools that this can encompass. In Software Engineering and Development, a job title doesn't really tell the story. Similar titles can lead to varied roles. The success I have gained in helping Software Engineers to find their right role comes from understanding the company and the niche requirements of each role.

The companies I work with range from SMEs to Multinationals, from up-and- =comers to household names. Working with a variety of companies allows me to assess what environment a candidate is looking for and help them to find the right company as well as the right role.
