About Your New Job
- Manage costs related to building and civil engineering projects, from initial estimates to final figures.
- Prepare cost estimates, manage budgets, perform cost control, and generate cost reports.
- Prepare and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to ensure accurate project costing.
- Oversee project developments with the assistance of the Commercial Director, ensuring financial efficiency and project success.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide detailed financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
What Skills You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, with a preference for residential QS experience.
- A full clean Irish Driver's Licence - Class B.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
