About Your New Job

As a Senior Packaging Engineer you will:

  • Design and develop packaging components and assemblies for medical devices.
  • Serve on cross-functional, cross-divisional project teams focusing on design, technology, and process.
  • Develop design specifications, input requirements, validations, and technical reports in accordance with quality system requirements.
  • Support investigations and corrective actions for packaging-related issues.
  • Actively collaborate with Packaging and Labeling peers across Medtronic to identify and implement best practices.
  • Utilize knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements related to packaging and labeling, ensuring robust package validation and qualification.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement projects focusing on “best in class” outcomes.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to others within the packaging engineering team.

What Skills You Need

  • Degree level L8 in Engineering/Science or a related discipline; a Master's degree is desirable.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in biomedical materials, processing knowledge, and medical packaging design procedures.
  • Proven experience in innovative package design, product development, and manufacturing.
  • Promote and practice a culture of integrity, ethics, and compliance with laws and policies.
