Our client is the leading Insurer to Ireland’s public sector and exist to safeguard the interests of their members, which range from Local Authorities, Education & Training boards, the HSE and Regional Assemblies. They are looking to recruit a Risk Advisor into their growing function in Dublin.
About Your New Job
- Provide expert guidance to reduce risk and prevent claims across members.
- support informed decision-making across the organisation by offering tailored advice, identifying potential exposures, and recommending proactive mitigation strategies that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote strong governance by embedding best practice frameworks, ensuring that risk management and assurance processes are integrated into day-to-day operations, regularly reviewed, and aligned with evolving regulatory expectations and organisational objectives.
- Align risk management activities with strategic goals, contributing to internal audits, compliance reviews, and the collection and analysis of risk-related data to inform reporting, support executive decision-making
What Skills You Need
- Relevant Risk Management experience and/or professional qualifications in any of the following areas; Governance, Risk and Compliance, Engineering, Information Security, Health and Safety or Insurance.
- Experience in a risk advisory, enterprise risk management, or governance role
- Knowledge of risk management systems including legal, regulatory, technical and operational requirements.
- Experience developing and implementing risk frameworks, tools, and policies.
