About Your New Job
- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and financial reports promptly to ensure accurate financial insights.
- Manage weekly cash flow forecasting, ensuring adherence to agreed bank facility limits.
- Develop, monitor, and update budgets and costing systems to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide detailed financial analysis to drive business development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with taxation deadlines while maintaining strong relationships with auditors, bankers, and external stakeholders.
- Enhance corporate governance processes to improve financial controls and regulatory compliance.
- Take full responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of credit control and purchase ledgers, effectively managing the performance of financial teams.
- Monitor working capital trends to ensure effective cash flow management and financial stability.
- Act as a strategic business partner, collaborating with departments to deliver high-quality financial support.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You Need
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc) with strong leadership experience.
- Experience within the industrial sector (construction, manufacturing, distribution etc) would be advantageous.
- Commercially driven mindset, combining strategic financial planning with business growth initiatives.
- Proven technical expertise in financial management, capable of handling complex financial operations.
- Willingness to travel to head office in Europe once per month.
- Stamp 4 or EU Passport required (sponsorship not on offer).
