I'm delighted to be working an excellent Procurement Manager role with one of our Dublin based clients. This is a hybrid role with strong salary and benefits package. 

Role Overview

The Country Procurement Lead oversees the end-to-end procurement strategy for the local market within the company's high-growth Local Line of Business. This role supports client supply chain operations, optimizes Opex, and strengthens the broader country supply chain to enable sustainable business growth. The position spans management of Facilities Management (FM) categories, strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships, risk, ESG initiatives, and procurement transformation.

You will develop and execute a market-specific procurement strategy aligned with business objectives—enhancing customer satisfaction, enabling P&L optimisation and cost savings, elevating quality and risk management, driving ESG outcomes, and fostering innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Supply Chain & Procurement Leadership

  • Develop and maintain Partner Excellence Programme to build a “fit-for-purpose” preferred supplier network across service categories, geographies, and industry sectors.
  • Create and deliver category strategies and sourcing plans to achieve procurement financial targets and support wider business goals.
  • Implement supply chain innovations and emerging best practices that differentiate the company and improve client outcomes.
  • Lead supplier relationship management, designing programmes that unlock value and foster deep, strategic relationships with preferred partners.

Business Engagement & Transformation

  • Design and deliver procurement and operations training programs to support the Target Operating Model and improve supply chain maturity.
  • Act as a key influencer with operational leaders, ensuring consistent adoption of best practices across the business.
  • Oversee implementation and improved utilisation of procurement systems.

ESG & Responsible Sourcing

  • Define and execute strategies to meet client ESG goals—including supplier diversity, sustainability, emissions reductions, and responsible sourcing.

Client & Commercial Enablement

  • Support business development activities, including RFP responses, client pitches, supply chain solution design, and development of sales collateral.
  • Lead procurement components of client transitions, mobilisations, and renewals.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and grow the Country Procurement team, including succession planning, coaching, and development.
  • Build business cases for future team expansion as the business scales.

Requirements & Capabilities

  • 10+ years’ procurement experience with deep expertise in sourcing and supply chain management; strong passion for the discipline.
  • Facilities management and service category knowledge strongly preferred (e.g., cleaning, landscaping, MRO, security, waste, office services, catering, elevators, fire/life safety, building maintenance).
  • Experience in hard services and technical/operational requirements desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced studies (Master’s, MBA, Supply Chain) preferred.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing sourcing strategies and influencing adoption at all levels.
