About Your New Job

As the Project Solutions Engineer, you will:

  • Promote Safety: Ensure excellent safety culture on all projects.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and strengthen relationships with clients to drive the business, designing and agreeing on product and service solutions of the highest quality, on time and on budget.
  • Research and Interpretation: Apply learnings from Standards, Regulations, and other documentation to provide project solutions.
  • Site Visits: Conduct measure-ups and meet with client representatives to fully understand project requirements.
  • Project Documentation: Complete customer drawings, specifications, flue calculations, and other project requirements.
  • Team Communication and Support: Provide training and development to achieve desired outcomes on quality, safety, delivery, and installation.
  • Technical Support: Offer industry-recognized technical support and backup service on all projects, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, integrating new technologies and business procedures as needed.
  • Operations Support: Work with the Operations team to ensure products meet quality standards and are produced to scheduled delivery dates and costs.

What Skills You Need

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with design software such as Solidworks, Draftsight, Revit, BIM, and MS Office Suite.
  • Standards and Regulations: Knowledge of Building Regulations and ability to interpret and understand appropriate Standards and Regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Proven ability to drive process improvements.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Confident communicator, strong negotiator, and ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Time Management: Ability to work to and meet required deadlines.
  • Planning and Organizational Skills: Strong planning, organizational, and conflict management skills.
  • Business Acumen: Understands commercial realities and proposes cost-effective solutions.
  • Meeting Management: Ability to manage meetings and ensure agreed actions are implemented.
  • Personal Attributes: Decisive, goal-driven, high achiever, problem solver, responsible, autonomous, and able to work under pressure and multitask.
  • Driving License: Full clean driving license.
