Their work covers commercial offices, healthcare and industrial environments, supported by a nationwide maintenance division that delivers both planned servicing and 24/7 emergency response for HVAC, refrigeration and building services equipment. The company is recognized for its practical, client-focused approach— they are looking for a maintenance electrician to be based on various sites in the Dublin area.

About your new role

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple commercial properties. You’ll be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, installations and compliance testing, ensuring all works meet current standards and client expectations. This role suits an experienced electrician who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving and working across varied sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, HVAC electrical components and small power.

  • Respond to reactive maintenance issues, identifying faults quickly and carrying out effective repairs.

  • Complete electrical installations, replacements and upgrades (lighting, containment, sockets, isolators, control wiring, etc.).s

  • Ensure all work complies with building regulations and FM safety standards.

  • Accurately complete digital job sheets, compliance documentation and service reports.

  • Communicate effectively with facility managers, supervisors and site contacts.

  • Follow all Health & Safety protocols including safe isolation, RAMS and permit-to-work processes.

  • Maintain an organised and well-stocked company vehicle.

  • Support wider FM teams with minor mechanical or fabric tasks.

What you need

  • You will be a trade qualified electrician with experience working on commercial premises, you will need to hold a valid driving licence. Candidates with maintenance experience will have an advantage.
