Responsibilities
Process and review customer orders accurately.
Schedule jobs based on resource needs and confirm details with customers.
Upload all job information into the TMS.
Collect and upload required documentation and record all job-specific details.
Maintain clear communication with customers regarding progress, delays, or issues.
Monitor incoming shipments and ensure delivery timelines are met.
Reschedule deliveries when required due to shipping delays.
Track daily delivery progress and report any issues to management.
Check delivery paperwork for accuracy and send PODs and additional info by the next working day.
Record extra costs and relevant details in the TMS for invoicing.
Report near misses and any safety or quality concerns.
Support continuous improvement and highlight opportunities to streamline operations.
Attend required meetings and assist with weekly/monthly reporting.
Requirements
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Clear communication and customer service abilities.
Proficiency with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and tracking tools.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Awareness of health, safety, and quality standards.
