About Your New Job as a Healthcare Architectural Technologist

  • Producing drawings, specifications, and schedules in line with project standards and timelines.
  • Coordinating layouts and preparing tender and construction documentation for medium to large-scale healthcare projects.
  • Ensuring all design work adheres to standards and is buildable.
  • Contributing to cost management by evaluating budget implications in design and technical decisions.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance project profitability while maintaining quality.
  • Conducting site visits to provide construction and technical support.

What Skills You Need as a Healthcare Architectural Technologist

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in architectural technology, particularly in mid to large-scale healthcare projects.
  • Proven expertise in developing detailed designs and technical documentation.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary team environments.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
  • Experience with NBS Chorus software for writing specification documents.
  • Strong understanding of BIM processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with current Irish Building Codes and Planning Regulations.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.
  • A full driving license.
