About Your New Job
- Actively participate in commercial discussions: Provide financial insights and analysis to drive better decision-making and maximize shareholder return.
- Support evaluation and decision-making: Handle CAPEX, marketing/digital investment, pricing, markdown, and sell-through management.
- Manage the finance team: Ensure timely, accurate, and relevant reporting, and develop the team to its maximum potential.
- Prepare Senior Team reports: Comment on monthly management accounts and business performance.
- Focus on value add and business partnering: Support other brand teams with financial analysis and insight-led decision-making.
- Manage treasury and cashflow: Forecast short- and medium-term cash flow, balance inventory intake, and forward order book commitments.
- Lead the annual Budget cycle: Drive turnover and margin growth and cost reduction.
- Build and maintain strong systems of internal financial controls: Ensure accuracy in reporting and protect the brand's assets.
- Co-ordinate the finance team workload: Work with team leads in commercial, operational, and statutory roles.
- Co-ordinate the statutory audit and compliance: Handle tax, company secretarial, and CRO statutory reporting and filing requirements.
What Skills You Need
- Qualified chartered or ACCA accountant with a minimum of 7 years PQE.
- Experience in designing, building, and using dashboards and KPIs to analyze business performance.
- Experience in retail / FMCG / commercial environments is highly preferable.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to lead business decision-making using insights and analytics.
- Strong attention to detail and prioritization of accuracy.
- Passion for analytics and a relentless determination to yield real business insights.
