About Your New Job
- Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, including variance analysis and commentary for the Executive team. Prepare consolidated financial statements for six entities across multiple regions.
- Commercial & Project Review: Collaborate with commercial teams to review construction project performance, profitability, and cost control. Consolidate project financial data for accurate reporting and forecasting. Provide insights on project margins, cash flow, and risk exposure.
- Treasury Management: Oversee group cash flow and liquidity planning. Manage 25+ bank and money market accounts. Optimize working capital and monitor foreign exchange exposure. Maintain strong relationships with banking partners.
- Audit & Risk Management: Lead the annual audit process and ensure timely completion of statutory audits. Maintain robust internal controls and compliance frameworks.
- Insurance & Bonding: Manage the annual insurance renewal process and act as the main point of contact for bond providers.
- Tax & Compliance: Manage tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including VAT, payroll, and corporation tax. Monitor regulatory changes and implement compliance processes.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of seven finance professionals. Provide guidance and training on financial systems and best practices.
- Process Improvement & Systems: Drive automation and efficiency initiatives within finance operations. Maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Strategic Support: Partner with the Executive team to provide financial insights for strategic planning. Support budgeting and forecasting for group entities.
What Skills You Need
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant (or equivalent).
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in financial management, with multi-entity and multi-country exposure.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP across relevant jurisdictions.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
