My client is a growing Travel Technology firm operating globally. Due to growth, they are now looking to further their Dublin presence with the addition of a Commercial Counsel in their established Legal team.
About Your New Job
As the Commercial Counsel you will work closely with the Head of Legal, in a fast paced environment that offers the opportunity to progress your career in a growing global company. The Commercial Counsel will be expected to work across:
- Contract management- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements such as Technology contracts, IP Licensing, NDA’s and Service agreements. All whilst providing legal support for strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.
- Technology & Telecommunications Legal Support- Provide sound legal advice on technology, consumer and telecommunications regulatory matters. Support product development and review supplier/vendor agreements in the tech and telco space
- General Commercial & Strategic Legal Support- Providing day to day legal advice to differing business units and stakeholders. Provide expert legal support corporate governance, compliance, and risk management
What Skills You Need
- Qualified solicitor/barrister in Ireland with 4-5 years post-qualification experience is essential for this role.
- Extensive experience in commercial contract law and negotiations
- Proven track record in drafting and negotiating NDAs, MSAs, marketing agreements, service agreements, and IP agreements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Commercial acumen and business-focused approach
- Previous experience in the technology sector is desirable
- Experience in telecommunications or connectivity services is desirable, but not a prerequisite
- Experience with international contract negotiations
- Knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks
