Are you a people-first operations professional looking for a meaningful part-time role? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-respected sports club based in Glasnevin for a Club Operations Manager to support its day-to-day running, member services, and ongoing development projects.
This is a busy, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives on variety, and wants to contribute to a warm, inclusive community setting. You'll be the go-to person for operations, facilities, and member coordination—playing a key role in the club’s continued growth.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing
Coordinating the daily operations of the club and facilities
Managing club administration, including responding to enquiries and maintaining records
Processing membership applications, renewals, payments, and database updates
Assisting with payroll, invoice handling, and VAT submissions (training provided)
Scheduling maintenance, ordering supplies, and liaising with bar and cleaning staff
Supporting committee initiatives and working with volunteers to drive improvement projects
Helping develop club policies and supporting health & safety documentation
Being a friendly, reliable point of contact for members and junior players
✅ What We’re Looking For
Strong administration and organisational skills with experience in scheduling, record keeping, or calendar coordination
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset—someone who notices problems and tackles them head-on
Excellent communication and people skills—this is a visible, member-facing role
Good working knowledge of MS Office; experience with membership systems or cloud-based tools is a bonus
Ability to work independently with flexibility and initiative
Ideally, a background or interest in clubs, sport, community work, or education
Experience handling payroll or light finance tasks is welcome, but not essential—support and training will be provided

Location: Glasnevin, Ballymun Road
Hours: 25–30 per week (typically 12pm–5/6pm, Monday to Friday)
Salary: €40,000–€50,000 FTE (i.e. approx. €26K–€40K pro-rata, depending on hours and experience)
Contract: Permanent, on-site, with a supportive committee and long-standing member base
