With extensive local market knowledge and sector-specific expertise, the company offers bespoke facilities management strategies that include hard and soft services, contract management, compliance oversight, and asset maintenance. The are currently looking to add an experienced Building Manager to their Dublin based team to manage to properties in the heart of the city.

About Your New Job

As the Building Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the commercial buildings, ensuring efficient and effective management.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other building infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain building safety protocols, including emergency procedures, fire safety, and security measures.
  • Manage building access control systems, ensuring the security and safety of tenants and visitors.
  • Monitor building systems, conduct regular inspections, and address any maintenance or operational issues promptly.
  • Support the building landlord and all key stakeholders to help deliver all ESG related goals and targets.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and services.
  • Prepare and manage the annual building budget, including operating expenses, maintenance costs, and capital improvements.
  • Foster positive relationships with tenants and act as the primary point of contact for their needs, inquiries, and concerns.
  • Proactively address tenant concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Overseeing building works and refurbishments as the properties will be upgraded in the near future.

What Skills You Need

  • At least 5 years of strong Facilities / building management experience.
  • Experience in multiple stakeholder engagement in an occupied building undergoing a refurb or renovation.
  • Proficient in using facilities management software, CAFM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A solid understanding of ESG and the importance it plays in the built environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Experience in overseeing building works / refurbishments.
