BIM Technician required for a residential contractor in South Dublin. The successful candidate would be reporting into the BIM Lead with a company that offers fantastic career progression opportunities and the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects including:
- Data Centre
- Renewable
- Pharmaceutical
- Commercial
Responsibilities:
- Facilitating BIM project setup and providing support and administration for a multidisciplinary project that spans various application platforms, such as AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks, and others.
- Ensuring seamless BIM integration and interoperability among internal design team members and external vendors.
- Managing and maintaining BIM360/ACC models and generating reports in alignment with project specifications.
- Ensuring the compliance of all documentation and models with both internal and client procedures.
- Spearheading coordination meetings involving project stakeholders.
Requirements
- A relevant Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree would be advantageous.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar Mechanical BIM role with an Irish contractor.
- The BIM Technician must be proficient in Revit MEP, Navisworks and MS Office.
- Sound understanding of HVAC, Piping would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and problem solving skills.
- The right to work in Ireland without a work permit.
