Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking design and construction firm based in Loughrea, Galway are seeking an experienced BIM Technician to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled individual to work on a variety of exciting projects across the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
About your new role as a BIM Technician
- Create and manage detailed 3D BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD
- Support design coordination across architecture, structural, and MEP disciplines
- Conduct clash detection and contribute to design solutions
- Collaborate with in-house teams and external consultants to ensure model integrity
- Ensure adherence to project standards and BIM protocols
What Skills You Need:
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a BIM/Revit Technician role
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
- Familiarity with Irish building regulations and BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Experience working on multidisciplinary projects is a plus
