My client within the construction Industry have a requirement for a finalist or newly qualified accountant coming from a construction or similar Industry background. This role is based close to the city center

About Your New Job
- Ledger management
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and Revenue
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparing month end, including accruals, pre payments and inter-company charges.
- Ensuring all revenue requirements are met, including RCT/ VAT/PAYE returns
- Provision of project costing and review
- Planning, budgeting and forecasting with cash flow planning
- Preparing monthly Management Accounts incl. Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements
- Assisting with Audits and Year End accounts
- Fact checks and resolving discrepancies
- Liaise with other departments within the company
What skills you need
- Finalist or newly qualified accountant with a construction background
- Must have Sage 50 accounting
- Knowledge of Brightpay Payroll would be an advantage
- Good working knowledge of Irish Revenue systems
- Strong IT skills with high level of proficiency in MS Office and in particular Excel
