Account Assistant - 8-12 Month Contract - West Dublin
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with at least 2 years of experience in an accounting role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP and be comfortable working independently across a variety of finance tasks, from reconciliations to reporting and journal entries. Key Responsibilities
Weekly:
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Run stock reports
- Process payment runs
Monthly:
- Process wages journal
- Reconcile and post Social Club journal
- Netting payment allocation
Month-End Duties:
- Generate PA Report
- Lease journal entries
- Intercompany reconciliations and email correspondence
- FX contract spreadsheet and related journal
- Loan and bank reconciliations
- Creditors reconciliation
- Post accruals and prepayments journal
Ad-hoc / As Required:
- Invoice processing
- Posting RDF into customer accounts
- Supporting ad-hoc finance projects
- Assisting with VAT returns
Half-Yearly:
- Assist with budget preparation
Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance admin role
- Proficiency with SAP (or similar ERP systems)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Competency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
- Experience with intercompany reconciliations and reporting
- Familiarity with VAT returns and budget preparation
- Exposure to multinational or large corporate environments
