About Your New Job
As the Lead Panel Builder/Workshop Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage a team of 5-10 panel builders and apprentices, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to specifications.
- Review and interpret panel schematics and drawings using ePlan and AutoCAD, supervising the panel building process.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical assembly of MCC and control panels, including wiring, testing, and commissioning.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards, managing production personnel, and leading Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of completed panels. This position demands a high level of responsibility and technical expertise.
What Skills You Need
To excel in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in switchgear manufacturing, with at least 3 years as a lead panel builder or workshop manager.
- Proficiency in ePlan and AutoCAD for reviewing panel schematics and drawings.
- Experience with modular enclosure and busbar systems (Logstrup or equivalent) and ABB/Schneider Switchgear.
