About your new job
- Oversee logistics for high-volume inbound and outbound goods, including raw materials and finished products.
- Proactively monitor inventory and implement plans to meet targets.
- Maintain a stable supply plan, identifying and correcting deviations.
- Ensure safety stocks are maintained to meet production lead times for core products.
- Translate site strategy into actionable plans, managing cross-functional teams to achieve KPIs.
- Develop and present scenario analyses to support supply chain decisions.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives using techniques like Operational Excellence, 5S, and Lean-Six-Sigma.
- Coordinate with S&OP teams to align supply chain, sales, and planning.
- Collaborate with the NPI team for new product introductions.
- Implement process improvements and enhance team performance, productivity, and satisfaction.
- Manage raw material quality, including supplier contact, complaint handling, returns, and credits.
- Work with minimal supervision, guided by operational and project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, health, and safety standards.
- Develop consignment stock agreements with key suppliers.
- Manage monthly cycle counts and end-of-year inventory.
- Monitor performance KPIs and implement corrective and preventive actions.
What skill/experience you need
- Relevant degree in Business Operations, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- End-to-end supply chain planning experience
- Knowledge of export control and regulations is a plus
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to communicate findings and make recommendations
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and MS Project
- Team leadership and development skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with value stream mapping is an advantage
