My client, a manufacturer of weighing components with factories in Barcelona and Morocco are looking for a Sales & Marketing Administrator on a part-time basis in their office in Ballyhale, Kilkenny.
This is a part-time role with the option of working 5 mornings/ afternoons per week or 3 full days:
Monday – Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am-2pm.
About your New Job as a Sales & Marketing Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate sales leads.
- Assist with customers’ enquiries, generate simple quotations in the CRM system.
- Assist the Managing Director and/or Marketing Manager to generate sales & marketing documents.
- Potentially manage a small stock of lightweight products, pack them, and arrange courier collection as necessary.
- Pass leads to the European Area Sales Manager as appropriate, to assist him in turning leads into new customers.
- Receive enquiries from website and assist with technical questions, generate, and send simple quotations in CRM system, provide stock availability information.
- Support customers with problems to resolve them quickly and professionally, e.g. product warranty claims, shipment queries, etc.
- Visit the UK office in Reading occasionally, in order to meet and maintain a relationship with the colleagues.
What Skills Are Needed for a Sales & Marketing Assistant
- Have previously worked in a sales or marketing environment for at least two years
- Computer literate
- Experience with Excel
- Skilled in the use of Word
- Customer service experience essential
- Previous experience working with CRM systems to enter data and create reports
- Experience working in logistics, dealing with couriers and/or packaging small products
- Be able to speak a foreign language (e.g. French, Flemish, German, Czech or another)
- Knowledge of products / components used in industry
- Knowledge of B2B sales techniques and methods
