About Your New Role
- Assist members with issues and provide advice on procurement, contracts, health & safety, HR, planning, development, and ESG matters.
- Prepare submissions and reports for County Development Plans, Capital Works Programmes, and Development Contribution Schemes.
- Organize and attend regional meetings, briefings, dinners, and conferences.
- Manage branch bank accounts, including transactions and annual statements.
- Represent the client's regional interests with stakeholders (Local Authorities, TDs, educational institutions, Chambers of Commerce).
- Ensure the Southern Region representation on relevant committees and liaise closely with members and Branch committees.
What Skills You Need
- Relevant degree with strengths in representation, negotiation, and administration; construction industry experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with current construction issues and needs of construction companies.
- Strong understanding of a representative organization's role, committed to serving members and Associations.
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to build relationships with members and public authorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage a significant workload, and possess a full clean driver's license with access to a car.
