About your new job as a Quality Engineer
- Work effectively in a team and build relationships across the organization and with external suppliers and regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate complaint handling, analysis, and investigation for Medtronic products, including documentation of complaint devices.
- Perform analysis, investigation, and laboratory duties, assisting in test procedure development and root cause investigations.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities for customer complaint investigations and root cause determination.
- Understand the manufacturing process and final products, including terminology and typical failure modes.
- Conduct laboratory support functions, including instrument maintenance, calibration, and alignment checks.
- Communicate key information and escalate quality issues to CQXM management and post-market quality teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives within the CQXM department.
- Support new product launches, ensuring CQXM requirements are included in the development process.
- Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations, and support audit preparation and quality standards.
- Train and support new analysts.
What skill/experience you need as a Quality Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree (level 8 NFQ) in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Science)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Technical writing skills
