Join a leading healthcare technology company on a 12-month Contract in Galway. The company strive on improving healthcare conditions globally. You will join the quality team and help perform analysis and investigations to improve the companies’ products.

About your new job as a Quality Engineer

  • Work effectively in a team and build relationships across the organization and with external suppliers and regulatory agencies.
  • Coordinate complaint handling, analysis, and investigation for Medtronic products, including documentation of complaint devices.
  • Perform analysis, investigation, and laboratory duties, assisting in test procedure development and root cause investigations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities for customer complaint investigations and root cause determination.
  • Understand the manufacturing process and final products, including terminology and typical failure modes.
  • Conduct laboratory support functions, including instrument maintenance, calibration, and alignment checks.
  • Communicate key information and escalate quality issues to CQXM management and post-market quality teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives within the CQXM department.
  • Support new product launches, ensuring CQXM requirements are included in the development process.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations, and support audit preparation and quality standards.
  • Train and support new analysts.

What skill/experience you need as a Quality Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree (level 8 NFQ) in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Science)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Technical writing skills
