About Your New Job
They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Lead Project Engineer to join their Connection Projects team. The chosen candidate will oversee the project management of significant infrastructure initiatives, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget while adhering to established governance and controls. This role involves managing projects through every phase, from initiation and construction to commissioning and final closure.
Their Connection Projects team is tasked with facilitating electricity connections for generation, demand, and interconnection customers to the transmission system. This encompasses managing transmission projects for connecting power generation and demand customers at distribution voltage levels.
What Skills You Need
- Engineering degree or equivalent, typically with 6 years of relevant experience with a holistic understanding of the power industry.
- Proven experience in managing a portfolio of large-scale projects – overseeing the delivery of complex solutions and an ability to drive successful outcomes.
- Excellent communicator, able to articulate technical concepts and analysis to non-technical audiences and business leaders.
- Ability to coach and develop high-performance capabilities in a changing and dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of the requirements of stakeholders and industry for the transmission system and associated developments.
- Full driver’s license.
