Senior Logistic planner and a Logistic coordinator is wanted for a leading concrete business in Meath and South Dublin head offices.
Requirements
- Plan the most effective daily transport and delivery schedules for each manufacturing location.
- Lead a logistics team to manage our business process for order - delivery including customer service.
- Work closely with manufacturing location managers and batching teams to deliver effective production planning, understand location capacity and product capability.
- Oversee process orders received via telephone, email, face-to-face or Sales Team.
- Responsible for vehicle planning and allocation of fleet to locations to fulfil daily orders.
- Ensure all customer orders are delivered within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure on-going effective communication with site teams, fleet, production locations, technical and sales.
- Understand and achieve specific targets regarding utilisation of trucks, costs and empty journeys.
- Work closely with dispatch teams to maximise the utilisation of trucks.
Skills Required:
5+ years’ experience working in a logistics or dispatch office.
Strong knowledge of systems/detailed administration.
Logistics experience within manufacturing would be beneficial.
Supply Chain or Logistics third level qualification is desirable.
