About Your New Role

  • You will serve as the primary on-site contact for all IT-related issues in the Dublin office.
  • You will provide comprehensive technical support to resolve or escalate any IT concerns.
  • You will work collaboratively with other IT team or external partners, both locally and remotely, to efficiently resolve issues.
  • You will follow up with users and business partners to confirm their needs are met, and guide them on optimizing solutions and procedures.
  • You will proactively anticipate, mitigate potential issues, and identify root causes to reduce recurrence.
  • You will be documenting all incidents in the IT ticketing system.
  • You will be assisting users in effectively utilising new collaboration tools, such as Office 365, to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • You will evaluate the potential impacts of new technology rollouts and participate in complex analyses to identify potential effects on the Financial Markets/Trading ecosystem.
  • You will be engaging in IT projects and initiatives
  • You will manage and maintain hardware, software, and user application access inventories.

What Skills You Need

  • Third level education in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong computer literacy and technical competency in particular key areas of Telephony, Networks, and Internet
  • Excellent customer service skills and willingness to work with users to support them in their day-to-day work regarding their use of technology
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • high level of experience in investigating, identifying, replicating, and resolving issues across an array of hardware and software platforms.
  • Excellent knowledge of Office 365 collaboration tools.
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, SCCM, PowerShell, MS Exchange.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of IT platforms related to the Financial Services Industry.
  • Good knowledge of Excel macros and Visual Basic applications would be beneficial.
