Job location: Galway City, hybrid based with 4 days on site and 1 remote.

About Your New Job

This HR Payroll Generalist will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of 4 busy payrolls.

  • 1 weekly payroll comprising of approx. 400 hourly employees
  • 3 monthly payrolls, comprising of approx. 300 salaried employees

The primary focus of this role is Payroll but this candidate will also be required to be involved in other HR activities including; supporting comp & ben activities such as healthcare and pension administration, bonus calculations and payments, as well as supporting with audits.

It is beneficial if applicants have a genuine interest in HR as there could be the opportunity to progress within HR in the future.

What Skills and Qualifications You Need

  • The successful candidate will have degree level education and 2+ year’s experience of a busy Payroll function as well as HR Administration experience.
  • A Payroll qualification would be a distinct advantage eg IPASS or similar
  • A process driven mindset with a strong understanding of Payroll and HR processes, policies and systems, eg PeopleSoft, ResourceLink, ServiceNow, Coupa (to name a few!)
  • Intermediate level MS office skills included Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint.
