Health and Safety Officer (Construction)

We are currently recruiting for a health and safety office to join a large M&E company Cork on a full-time basis, This Contractor works across multiple sectors including Data Centres, Commercial, Educational, and Pharmaceutical.
About Your New Job
- Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the implementation of the HS&E strategy on the project while ensuring that a Positive Safety Culture is maintained.
- You will be supporting the creation of a safer construction site in Intel.
- It will be your responsibility to ensure all relevant safety documents are completed and filed correctly.
- You will be training employees on the importance of stringent Health and Safety procedures on-site.
- You will liaise with the Project Manager to ensure Health and Safety documentation is up to date on site
- You will provide a weekly site audit and progress report to the client
What Skills You Need
- You need a minimum of a level 8 qualification in Health and Safety
- You will also need 2+ years of Health and Safety experience in a high-pressure environment.
- Intel experience is desirable but not essential
- You must have an open mind and be willing to adapt to the role
- You must have a proven ability to influence change and bring a positive Health and Safety attitude to the site
