A leading financial consultancy firm based in Cork are looking for a Qualified Financial Adviser/ Planner.
About Your New Role as a Financial Adviser
- You will be responsible for providing financial planning/wealth management advice to the firm's clients.
- Develop life, pension, and investment business from the firms existing client base and from your own personal business connections.
- Meeting with new clients and taking them from the initial meeting right through the various stages of the financial planning process.
- Work with clients to ascertain their goals and objectives and ensure their financial structure is aligned to achieve these.
- Analyse, develop and implement comprehensive financial plans to clients.
- Analyse prospective client's investment portfolios and financial planning at onboarding stage.
- Manage your own pipeline.
- Manage client communications.
- Work with client's other professional advisors / specialists (tax, legal, accounting, corporate finance).
- Undertake annual client reviews.
- Attend workshops (internally and externally) and manage their own continuing professional development (CPD) and record same.
What Skills You Need as a Financial Adviser
- QFA qualified (minimum).
- CFP qualified (advantageous).
- 5 years+ experience as a Financial Adviser dealing with the Irish market.
- Proficient knowledge of Investment, Pension & Protection company products, offerings, and on-line systems.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrable experience of effectively managing direct client communications.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and provide excellent service.
- Results-driven & objective focused with the ability to meet annual targets.
- High degree of initiative without needing direction
