- This role will form part of a dynamic Finance Team and will be based from our Dublin head office.
Embarking on an exciting growth and transformation phase and is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to support the finance team in providing a best-in-class service delivering improvements and change across the business.
About Your New Job as Finance Manager
- Coordinate and oversee the monthly management accounts reporting process including the analysis of related items of the Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
- Manage and improve key control processes to ensure their continued effectiveness in line with best practice. Ensure financial processes are appropriately documented and reviewed.
- Actively lead projects across the finance environment to deliver step change results across the business.
- Analyse and provide commentary on the performance of a portfolio of customers from a revenue and margin perspective through understanding the customers revenue streams.
- Coordinate and lead annual external audit process.
- Develop relationships with the Commercial finance team to form a deep understanding of customer dynamics and assist them by identifying business challenges and providing analysis to support decision making.
- Challenge performance and be a driver for positive change via accurate and timely insight into trends and performance.
- Review bi-monthly VAT returns and support the preparation of corporation tax computations.
- Champion continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.
- Initiate and co-ordinate deep dive cost saving opportunities and optimise supplier framework. Represent the Finance function’s voice clearly and pro-actively in multiple areas.
- Assist in changing ways of working to ensure simplification and efficiencies.
- Actively participate in other ad hoc projects as they arise - by taking full ownership and running with such projects. Support the Group Financial Controller in the co-ordination and presentation of the company’s overall financial forecasts, budgets and plans.

What Skills You Need
- Candidate should be Qualified accountant with 3-5 years’ finance experience.
- People management experience desirable, but not necessary.
- Advanced excel skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to work with complex data sets. Experience in SAPB1 an advantage.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Previous experience of working in a high volume, fast paced environment and regulated control environment and be adaptable to change.
- Track record of interpreting information to influence and challenge the key drivers of business performance.
