An Italian automation equipment manufacturer is looking for you as their new Area Sales Manager to cover the whole of Ireland dealing with the Electrical installer community
About Your New Role as Area Sales Manager
- Help to achieve the country sales budget of the professional channel through strong account management.
- Provide regular structured account review meetings with customers.
- Grow the customer base across the territory by implementing a proactive policy towards new business.
- Develop multi-level relationships with existing customers by providing timely and comprehensive technical information about our products and/or services as well as commercial quotations.
- Support customers with technical challenges, both on site and at their premises.
- Prepare regional plans after analysing the market, understanding competitive activity, mapping key accounts, proposing new activity.
- Provide reporting into the company CRM system to provide long term knowledge that will help improve interaction and support of customers.
- Constantly grow knowledge about range of product solutions provided by the company as well as maintaining a good level of understanding on the relevant standards which need to be met.
What Skills are Needed for Area Sales Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Must have technical b/ground
- Must have a minimum 3 years sales experience
- Demonstrated Excellence in Technical Sales: Solid record of achievements within the Irish construction sector.
- Highly self-motivated, with proven initiative and a consistent track record of
- surpassing sales targets
- Exceptional communication skills
- Effective persuasion and negotiation skills
- Ability to foster and nurture relationships.
- Full drivers license required.
