A global leader in fabrication and manufacturing facility of HVAC equipment’s are looking for an EHS & Facilities Officer to join their team in Newmarket, Co. Cork.
About your new job
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs that comply with all relevant Irish and EU regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Examine safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Create and deliver safety training programs for employees.
- Control the facility maintenance program, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
- Expand and implement a waste management program.
- Manage the facility budget for EHS and facilities related expenses.
What skill/experience you need
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar EHS Management role.
- Experience with facility maintenance and management
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health would be an advantage.
- Very good understanding of the relevant Irish & EU EHS Regulations.
- A full clean Irish Driver’s Licence – Class B.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent communication & organisational skills.
