Customer Support and Sales Specialist

Location: Galway City

Type of contract: Permanent

This is a role based on site for the first 6 months and then reverts to a hybrid working opportunity of 3 days on site, 2 days from home.

About Your New Job

  • Develop good business relationships with new and existing customers (this role does not involve cold calling, you will only deal with people who are already customers).
  • Processing customer purchase orders and queries.
  • Manage and process customer queries by both phone and email.
  • Inform customers on the technical benefits of the products.
  • Work and support external sales colleagues to ensure high level of customer service for customers.
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge and keeping up to date on product material.
  • Weekly and Monthly reporting through SAP.

What Skills/Experience You Need

  • Experience in a similar B2B customer service role.
  • Technical and or Production experience is a distinct advantage but not essential.
  • Experience working with multinational organisations would be preferred but not essential.
  • Experience of working within distribution, supply chain, medical or pharma related industries would be beneficial.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and maximise sales opportunities. 
  • Confidence to discuss the benefits and features of products (full training and support of the department will be given).
  • Good communication, organisational and administration skills. 
  • Ability & Desire to deliver first class customer service.
