The role involves managing refurbishment and fit-out projects within the built environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional seeking to advance in a growing, people-focused organization. The successful candidate will work with a dedicated and experienced team, including Health & Safety experts, M&E Project Engineers/Managers, Civil Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Supervisors, and a supportive back-office team.

About Your New Job

  • Manage program of works, monitor building progress, manage submittals, ensure regulatory compliance, and issue weekly progress reports.
  • Coordinate installation works and liaise with operations staff, suppliers, clients, and project teams daily.
  • Oversee contracting process with sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with contracts and specifications, and liaising with clients and trades as needed.
  • Attend all project-related and management meetings, including regular progress meetings with sub-contractors, and ensure minutes are recorded.
  • Be available for travel mainly within the greater Dublin/Leinster area, with occasional travel outside the area.
  • Support the Construction Manager in promoting excellent customer service, enhancing service delivery, acting as a brand ambassador, and performing any other duties necessary for business efficiency.

What Skills You Need

  • Construction-related qualification to higher diploma/degree level in civil engineering or construction management.
  • Demonstrable experience, training, and knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and requirements in Ireland.
  • Preferably has 5+ years of commercial build, refurbishment, and fit-out experience.
  • Good construction commercial knowledge
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, MS Project, etc.
  • Ability to drive projects while working under pressure and within strict deadlines
  • Motivated self-starter, who can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in IT literacy with the ability to collate and generate detailed site and management reports.
