Our diverse teams thrive in an environment that fosters collaboration and strong connections with Cigna globally and supports our ambition to create a better future built on the vitality of every individual and every community.

At Evernorth, we strongly believe that when purpose is paired with the right team, impactful change is possible. We are always looking upward. And that starts with finding the right talent to help us get there. Be a part of our mission to bridge the gaps in health care and make a real difference in the world through technology.

At Evernorth Ireland, we promote a culture of flexibility where you are not only provided with competitive compensation but are also recognised for your achievements. You will work with great people in a fun, entrepreneurial, rewarding environment.

About The Role

As the Product Manager at Evernorth, you will be a leader for your product, defining the product-level strategy and roadmap and leading the collaboration with both business and technical partners to identify those outcomes and solutions that will transform our business.

You will derive knowledge and insight for key products by drawing input from research and business teams, evaluating the state of the product today and making decisions that will balance business and end user goals. You will collaborate with research teams, business partners, design and technical teams to communicate capabilities and functional requirements, which can be consumed by development teams.

You will have excellent product, communication and soft skills, experienced in engaging with all stakeholders from business to technical and working with them to define and implement solutions to transform our business.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define the product strategy and roadmap.

  • Capture requirements from a wide range of inputs, understand and prioritise this work so your team is always working on the most valuable features.

  • Maintain well-refined feature backlog for business stakeholder priorities, and incorporate any architectural changes required.

  • Lead PI Planning and sprint reviews with relevant stakeholders, and work with product owner to prioritize feedback as relevant.

  • Identify product innovation opportunities in collaboration with research & engineering.

  • Collaborate with disparate business groups to optimize business and financial case for how technology will deliver their projects.

  • Own and maintain the quality of the product areas your team are responsible for, delivering world-class software in every release.

  • Create, evolve and communicate feature area specifications that form cohesive, iterative plans that align to the multi release vision.

  • Monitor the product performance in the market to ensure business outcomes and technical indicators are being achieved.

What You Need

  • 5+ years of experience in a product role.

  • Experience managing SaaS software products across the development cycle.

  • Experience with scrum & agile workflows.

  • Product management qualification desired.

  • SAFe training/certification desired.

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • You thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts and can turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans.

  • You have experience working with both qualitative customer insights and quantitative customer data to inform decisions.

  • You’ve conducted user research, a/b tests and have worked closely with designers and analysts. You’re entrepreneurial; you don’t need direction; you're self-driven, and organised.
