Revenue Assurance Analyst

About Your New Employer  

This job opportunity is with global company with offices in Galway City. You will be joining a talented and friendly Finance team and working with colleagues who are based across Galway, the US and India.

About Your New Job   

  • Reviewing and analyzing contracts and documenting significant terms and accounting conclusions.
  • Provide revenue recognition guidance to cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in data gathering to support internal and external audits.
  • Administer SOX controls and testing.
  • Assist with defining and creating operating procedures and participating in business process improvement initiatives related to revenue accounting activities.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly accounting close cycles.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Accounting team as well as other groups, such as Sales & Operations, Business Development, FPA, and Order Management.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy whilst meeting critical timelines.

 What Skills You Need

  • 2-3 years recent multinational experience, Industry or Big 4 experience considered 
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or CPA)
  • Strong US GAAP essential with a focus on ASC606
  • Strong problem-solving skills, takes proactive approach to address issues and avert conflict
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams to achieve results
  • Strong experience in Excel required / Comfortable in dealing with large volumes of data
  • Strong time management skills and works on critical items with a sense of urgency

The Benefits on offer

  • Medical Insurance: The Company will pay for medical insurance at the rate of 100% for employees, and 100% towards the cost of the insurance for their partner and all children up to and including age 22.
  • Pension: The Employer pension contribution will be 5% of basic salary with a matching employee contribution of 5% of basic salary.
  • Life Assurance: During the continuance of your employment under this agreement be eligible for life assurance of 4 x basic salary.
  • Long Term Disability Insurance / Income Protection: During the continuance of your employment under this agreement be eligible for “disability” insurance up to 75% of base salary, inclusive of any state benefits.
  • 25 days Annual Leave.
