A global IT software company are looking for a Paid Search Manager to join their team in the Cork office.
This is a key role within the performance marketing team and as Paid Search Manager, you will help develop and execute a data-driven growth marketing strategy for the company’s campaigns globally.
About Your New Role as Paid Search Manager
- Manage the creation, development and deployment of product marketing and thought leadership campaigns - maximizing exposure and stimulating lead generation across paid search globally.
- Critically assess current campaign structure and strategy as fit for purpose against product category and lead generation objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the paid media agency and scrutinize results weekly / monthly for business impact.
- Responsible for being rigorous in assessing proposed optimizations, able to customize reports from existing to track paid search performance impact and interpret the results into actionable insights.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across the business on global or regional performance, actions, and key results / outcomes in a clear, data-driven, and timely manner.
- Manage paid search ROI on an ongoing basis by regularly reviewing KPIs and ROI across all.
- Build a picture of the full paid search customer journey from impression to website landing page conversion. Understand and articulate impact of PPC landing page conversion rates on CPA & ROAS/ROI.
- Build out optimization and growth opportunities through latest engine innovations.
- Engage with SEO team to look for opportunities to co-optimize our search / SERP presence.
- Audit hygiene factors on a regular basis such as ad copy optimization, keyword research and analysis, landing page improvements and ad tracking.
- Leverage the direct Google and Bing strategic relationships for competitor research and benchmarking.
- Develop creative and innovative ways to continuously challenge the current results.
What Skills Are Needed as Paid Search Manager
- 6+ years' experience as a search manager in an agency or within an advertiser, with daily digital campaign management and ownership
- Experience with multiple platforms, e.g. Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Amazon Ads.
- Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certification.
- Experience of enterprise paid search platforms like Google Search Ads 360, Adobe Advertising Cloud, Marin Software or Kenshoo.
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or equivalent work experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Prior demand-generation experience in the B2B segment.
- Proven advanced paid search experience.
- Experience using Salesforce, email marketing platforms and/or marketing automation platforms e.g., Marketo
- Experience using Tableau or other data visualization tools.
- International search experience is a plus.
- Understanding of broad-stroke digital marketing concepts and SEO.
